Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) travels to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across a variety of settings. Develops and implements individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and patient goals, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, maintains detailed documentation in the electronic medical record, educates patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, and participates in quality assurance and professional development activities. Travel to Salem, Oregon for a 13-week assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. | Essential duties include using standardized assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders; designing personalized therapy programs; adjusting plans as needed; infection control; and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech Language Pathology experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
