Job Summary

The Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations and settings as part of a 13-week travel assignment in a facility located in Winfield, Alabama. Key duties include designing personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals, using standardized assessments, documenting progress in the electronic medical record, educating patients and caregivers on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining infection control and safety standards, participating in quality assurance and professional development, and performing other duties within the scope of practice. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment plans, and collaboration with a dedicated clinical team to improve patient outcomes. Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Speech Language Pathology experience (new grads welcome)
