Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 26-week inpatient rehab contract in Holyoke, MA. Inpatient rehab unit; CCC-SLP and MBSImP certifications; treats adult and geriatric patients with stroke and infectious respiratory disease; specializes in dysphagia management including bedside swallow evaluations, IDDSI implementation, modifying diet orders, and thickening agents; 1:15 patient ratio; day shift with 5x8 hours, on-call and every-other-weekend coverage; documents using Meditech Expanse; multidisciplinary team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP) certification
- Current BLS certification
- MA state SLP license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed SLP
- Experience in acute care and adult outpatient settings required
- Community hospital experience required
- Prior charge experience required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
