Job Summary
The Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations in a travel 13-week assignment at a facility in Alameda, CA. Responsibilities include designing personalized therapy programs, interpreting assessments, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting progress in the EMR, and educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and safe swallowing practices. Requires active SLP license in California and BLS; Master’s degree and CCC-SLP are preferred. Travel position offers full-time hours (40/week) with 8-hour days and benefits including health coverage, PTO, 401(k), licensure/CEU reimbursement, and recruiter support. Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
