Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess referred patients with speech, language, and swallowing needs and provide targeted treatment to improve voice, articulation, language skills, and safe swallowing. Responsibilities include teaching patients how to produce sounds, enhance oral/written language, and apply compensatory swallowing strategies in accordance with physician orders. The role involves planning and evaluating care, setting achievable goals for communication and swallowing, and delivering 40 hours/week during a 13-week travel assignment in Palmdale, CA. The position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure/licensure in process, CPR certification, CCCs, and at least one year of professional experience.
