Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist needed to provide speech-language pathology services in skilled nursing facilities across Hastings and Kalamazoo, MI. Responsibilities include assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders, with specialized focus on dysphagia, and documenting in electronic medical records. Requires Master’s degree in SLP, CFY and CCC from ASHA, and active Michigan SLP license. Assignment is a 13-week travel contract, 40 hours per week, with travel between facilities (Kalamazoo and Hastings).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Michigan SLP license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Experience with adult dysphagia assessment and treatment preferred
- Ability to complete documentation in electronic medical records required
