Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist needed for a 13-week contract in Milledgeville, GA. Provide speech therapy services to pediatric and older adult patients, including evaluation and treatment to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities. Responsibilities include communicating patient progress to the supervisor and team, assisting with scheduling and post charges, and documenting care per regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Requires a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (ASHA-certified or ASHA-eligible), independent decision-making, and at least 2 years of SLP experience. Travel/Contract role with 40 hours per week, 8-hour days. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements
- Must possess independent decision making skills
- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of SLP experience
