Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on evaluations, patient goals, and evidence-based practices. Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record, educate patients and families on effective communication and safe swallowing practices, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Ensure a safe treatment environment with infection-control and regulatory standards, participate in quality assurance and ongoing professional development, and perform additional duties as assigned within scope of practice. This is a travel assignment in Tacoma, WA, 13 weeks, with 40 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
