Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist needed for a 13-week assignment in Westwood, NJ. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population; design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations, goals, and evidence-based practices; continuously assess progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation in the EMR; educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and safe swallowing practices; collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care; maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection-control protocols and regulatory standards; engage in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development; perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
- Master’s Degree or higher of Speech Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech Language Pathology experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
