Job Summary
Travel SLP for an 8-week school-based assignment in Burnham, IL. Responsibilities include experience in articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and voice interventions; collaboration with general education and special education staff and parents; working knowledge of diagnostic instruments; experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and devices; writing IEPs with measurable annual goals and objectives; participating as a member of the IEP team; CCC-SLP (CFY accepted) and state licensure required with Master’s degree in SLP. In-person duties within a Public School District setting serving K-12 students; 24 hours/week with 37.5 hours per week described for work arrangement. Travel/Local W2 contract opportunities; supervision for CF-SLP per ASHA/state guidelines; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, licensure reimbursement, and CEU reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- CCC-SLP (preferred) or CFY accepted
- Educator/Teacher Certification if required by State or Department of Education
- Experience with articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and voice interventions
- Experience writing IEPs and measurable annual goals/objectives
- Experience in school-based settings; collaboration with general education and special education staff
- Ability to use diagnostic instruments and AAC strategies/devices
- Knowledge of state/federal regulations for disabled students
- ASHA guidelines familiarity
- W2 Local or Travel contract availability
