Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing speech therapy services to pediatric to older adult patients in Orlando, FL for a 13-week contract. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities; document patient care; communicate progress to supervisor and team; assist with patient scheduling and post charges; licensing reimbursement; benefits package including health insurance and 401K matching; travel/temporary/contract assignment with 40 hours/week across 5x8 shifts; focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA certification requirements
- Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements
- Independent decision making skills
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families
- At least 2 years of SLP experience
