Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Framingham, MA for a 13-week (40 hours/week) assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders; developing individualized treatment plans; collaborating with the interdisciplinary team; educating patients and families; and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY completion, CCC-SLP, MA SLP license, and BLS. Experience with SNF/long-term care and dysphagia management is preferred; strong documentation skills and ability to work within standard clinical documentation systems are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Active Massachusetts SLP state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia in skilled nursing or long-term care populations is required
- Experience with sub-acute rehabilitation caseloads preferred
- Strong documentation skills and experience with standard clinical documentation systems preferred
- Client requires no floating to other facilities for this assignment
