Job Summary
Travel PTA working in a skilled nursing facility in Alamosa, CO under licensed Physical Therapist supervision. 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift for a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include helping patients move better, feel better, stay active, and participating in restorative programs and ADL training; documentation in electronic medical records; requires Associate degree and Colorado PTA license; BLS may be required. Opportunities include travel contracts with housing/travel and license reimbursement support.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Colorado PTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Prior travel PTA experience preferred
- Experience with restorative programs and ADL training preferred
- Familiarity with documentation in electronic medical records preferred
