Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity in Gresham, OR, supporting patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility with 40 hours/week for a 13-week assignment. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provide treatment plan implementation and support patient mobility and function. Requires an Associate degree as PTA, active Oregon PTA license, and BLS certification prior to start. Preference for prior SNF/long-term care experience and familiarity with restorative nursing, transfers, ambulation training, and EMR documentation. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program
- Active Oregon PTA license
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, transfers and ambulation training, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to follow care plans under supervision of a Physical Therapist and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team
