Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapy Assistant role in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Springfield, IL. Provide restorative/maintenance therapy to geriatric patients under a licensed PT, with 40 hours/week on days, 13-week contract. Requires an accredited PTA degree and active IL PTA license; BLS may be needed. Experience in SNF/long-term care and EMR documentation preferred. Includes 100% paid housing, travel and license reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program
- Active Illinois PTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred
- Experience providing restorative or maintenance therapy and working with geriatric patient populations preferred
- Ability to document in electronic medical records preferred
