Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 14-week assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Hartford, AL. You will provide geriatric physical therapy and post-acute rehabilitation services, support restorative programs, and contribute to documentation processes. Requires an active Alabama PT license, BLS certification, and experience in SNF or long-term care settings with a focus on geriatric populations. The role may involve floating to other facilities and a standard 40-hour week with 8-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active state Physical Therapist license for Alabama
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required
- Demonstrated competency with documentation systems used in SNF care, including skilled therapy documentation and restorative program development
- Client requires clinicians to have experience with geriatric populations and post-acute rehabilitation
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in inpatient, long-term care, or skilled nursing environments is preferred
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, fall risk assessment, and use of common adaptive equipment is preferred
