Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment in Union, Missouri, working 40 hours per week in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering skilled therapy to support mobility, balance, and functional independence for geriatric/post-acute populations. Experience with geriatric populations, post-acute care interventions, and EMR documentation is preferred. Active Missouri PT license and BLS may be required. Travel housing benefits and relocation assistance are provided; 8-hour days on days shifts. This contract position offers full benefits and a recruiter-driven onboarding process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active Missouri State Physical Therapy License
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Demonstrated experience with geriatric populations and post-acute care interventions preferred
- Familiarity with resident care documentation in electronic medical record systems preferred
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide skilled therapy for mobility, balance, and functional independence
