Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week travel assignment in New York City (SNF). Responsibilities include assisting patients to recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions, with emphasis on restorative nursing, functional mobility training, transfers, and fall risk assessment. Requires a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and an active New York PT license. Proficiency with electronic medical records in SNF settings preferred. Shift is days, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. 100% paid housing and travel/license reimbursement are provided. Opportunities for direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel contracts are available.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active New York State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, functional mobility training, transfers, and fall risk assessment preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation in SNF settings preferred
