Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist in a SNF setting for 13 weeks in Hayward, CA. Responsibilities include evaluating patients and assessing daily living activity limitations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve independence in ADLs, delivering interventions to enhance motor skills, cognition, coordination, and self-care, maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, educating patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home programs, and assistive devices, and adhering to all applicable laws and licensure standards. Requires CA OT license and licensure (OTD or MOT) and CPR/BLS; 40 hours/week, 8-hour day shifts. Pay package based on 8-hour shifts, with location-based negotiation and a tax-free stipend determined.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTD or MOT)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Ability to travel and adapt to various clinical environments
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
