Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment in El Cerrito, CA (Skilled Nursing Facility). Provide therapy services to geriatric and medically complex patients, including evaluation, planning, and implementation of individualized OT treatment plans within a post-acute care setting. Requires a Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and an active California OT license; BLS may be required. Proficiency with post-acute care documentation systems and prior SNF/long-term care experience preferred. Assignment offers travel pay considerations and potential housing/license reimbursement; work typically 40 hours per week with a Day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred
- Proficiency with documentation systems used in post-acute care preferred
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT treatment plans for geriatric and medically complex populations preferred
