Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Ducktown, TN. Provide occupational therapy to patients to regain or improve daily living skills; 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; documentation in electronic medical records; OT licensed in Tennessee; preferred experience in SNF/LTC and ADL retraining; BLS may be required; 100% paid housing available for eligible travelers; travel/contract placement with housing support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Tennessee Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Experience with ADL retraining, transfers, and use of durable medical equipment preferred
- Client requires competency with documentation in electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families
