Job Summary
Travel contract COTA role in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Union City, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain daily living skills. 40 hours per week with a weekend schedule (Saturday or Sunday) for a 13-week assignment. Requires an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and active California COTA license; BLS may be required. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active California COTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Weekend clinical experience required due to weekend schedule (either Saturday or Sunday)
- Ability to meet client-specific requirements, including adherence to a 14-day cancellation notice policy
- Preferred: prior experience with restorative nursing programs and documentation systems commonly used in SNFs
