Job Summary
Drive travel sales revenue by managing team performance, setting goals, and coaching advisors to achieve productivity targets. Analyze sales trends to capitalize on opportunities and execute incentive programs and marketing campaigns. Resolve member issues and oversee day-to-day performance of Travel Advisors while establishing appropriate staffing levels. Identify process efficiencies in automation and reporting workflows, and build relationships with vendors and industry leaders. Manage hiring, training, and performance standards to ensure compliance and reduce agent errors. Work an extended schedule as needed and make recommendations to senior management on marketing and member benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of travel sales & service experience
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Ability to work an extended hour schedule as necessitated by business need
- Strong sales coaching skills
- Driven people leader with effective coaching, organization, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficient in customer issue resolution
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications or Google Suite equivalency
- Ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, and bend
