Job Summary
Drive travel sales revenue by managing team goals, coaching advisors to achieve productivity targets, and analyzing industry trends to capitalize on opportunities. Execute business line incentive programs and marketing campaigns while setting sales goals and holding the team accountable for reaching targets. Resolve member issues, manage performance standards, and establish appropriate staffing levels for assigned locations. Oversee day-to-day performance of Travel Advisors and Counselors, ensuring compliance and reducing agent errors. Identify process efficiencies in automation and reporting workflows, and build relationships with vendors and industry representatives to facilitate sales growth. Manage the employment process including hiring, training, and motivating a successful team. Requires a Bachelor's degree plus five years of travel sales experience, valid driver's license, and ability to work an extended schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of travel sales & service experience
- 9 years of travel sales & service experience (High School diploma)
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work an extended hour schedule as necessitated by business need
- Strong sales coaching skills
- Driven people leader with effective coaching, organization, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficient in customer issue resolution
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications or Google Suite equivalency
- Ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
- Ability to work an extended hour schedule as necessitated by business need
