Job Summary
Travel Sales Advisor at AAA Mountain West Group in Orem, UT. Responsibilities include selling international and domestic vacation packages (cruises, tours, hotels, car rentals, rail and air travel), initiating contact with members and prospects to generate new business and encourage repeat bookings, achieving minimum production goals in travel sales and related products, cross-selling with team collaboration, researching and comparing Travel Partner packages to meet member needs, staying current on travel industry trends, handling travel-related member questions and complaints, tailoring products to create memorable experiences, interpreting travel documents and informing members of governmental requirements, performing ticketing for air/hotel/car/rail, and using industry systems (GDS Apollo Galileo) and Google Workspace to manage transactions. Strong knowledge of travel products, geography, and consultative selling skills are required. The role is in-branch, full-time, with 5 days on-site and Saturdays required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of general sales experience
