Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 6-week travel assignment in Wenatchee, WA. Responsibilities include independent assessment, treatment and management of patients with respiratory conditions, collaboration with physicians to develop treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples), administering chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapies, setting up and monitoring oxygen delivery, and educating patients and families. Requires NBRC-credentialed RRT, active state license, and at least one year of recent RRT experience. Must be able to read/write English and handle clinical demands in ICU/ED settings. Travel with competitive pay and benefits; day-one insurance, licensure/CEU reimbursement, and a support team from Fusion Medical Staffing.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests and manage patient care in ICU/ED settings
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
