Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities include assessing, treating, and managing patients with complex respiratory conditions, collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests (lung capacity, sample collection), administering chest physiotherapy and aerosol meds, setting up and monitoring respiratory equipment, and educating patients and families on medications and device usage. Requires NBRC-credentialed RRT, valid state license, and English communication skills; travel role with comprehensive benefits and per-diem-style support.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses; ability to read, write, and communicate in English
