Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lansing, MI. Provide advanced respiratory care in ICU and emergency settings, including independent assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex pulmonary disorders. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans; perform diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples); administer treatments such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications; set up and monitor oxygen delivery; educate patients and families on medications and equipment; perform other duties within RRT scope. Must hold NBRC-credentialed RRT and a valid state license. English communication skills and physical ability to handle equipment and clinical procedures. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- English language proficiency
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Physical ability to remain stationary and move equipment (50-100lbs) and other physical demands as described
