Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Savannah, GA. Independently assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory conditions in ICU/ED, collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests (lung function measures, sample collection), set up and monitor oxygen and respiratory equipment, administer therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosolized medications), and educate patients and families on medications and device use. Requires NBRC-credentialed RRT and state license; strong English communication; physical ability for hospital environment. Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting 50-100lbs, move equipment
- Technical/motor and mental requirements as described
- Ability to work under supervision and in team settings
- Travel assignment experience preferred
