Travel RRT - ICU - Respiratory Therapy

Job Summary
Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in the ICU. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, and administer medications via chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapy. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery while educating patients and families on medication use and device operation. Maintain visual acuity and communicate effectively in English while working under pressure. Requires one year of recent RRT experience, valid NBRC credential, and Florida licensure. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
