Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Petoskey, MI. Provides advanced respiratory care in ICU/emergency settings, collaborates with physicians to develop patient treatment plans, performs diagnostic tests (lung capacity, sample collection), administers therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications), sets up and monitors equipment for correct oxygen delivery, and educates patients and families on medications and equipment. Requires NBRC RRT credential and a valid state license, plus one year of RRT experience. Must read/write/communicate in English and meet physical and sensory requirements for routine respiratory care duties. Complies with scope of RRT practice and works under supervision as needed.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
