Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans for complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. Perform diagnostic tests, including measuring lung capacity and collecting samples, while treating patients through chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery and educate patients or families on medication and device usage. Requires one year of recent experience, NBRC RRT credential, and valid Washington license. 13-week assignment in Richland, Washington with highly competitive pay, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, and licensure reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
