Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Beckley, WV. Provides advanced respiratory care in ICU and emergency settings, independently assessing, treating, and managing patients with complex pulmonary disorders. Collaborates with physicians to develop treatment plans, performs diagnostic tests (lung capacity measurements, specimen collection), administers therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications), sets up and monitors oxygen delivery, and educates patients and families on medications and equipment. Must have NBRC RRT credential, WV license, and at least one year of recent RRT experience; strong communication and physical requirements are noted. Travel benefits and comprehensive insurance are provided.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- Valid respiratory therapy license
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
