Job Summary
Assess patient learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse groups while effectively using the Nursing Process in OR delivery. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources as a leader on the Interdisciplinary Team, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of OR experience in heart, neuro, and vascular settings. Must reside over 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Current RN License in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential information
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision
- 1 year experience required
- Must live >65 miles from job site
- RN CIRCULATOR - REQUIRED EXPERIENCE : HEART, NEURO AND VACULAR
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Leadership skills / experience directly supervising or managing others
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience preferred
