Job Summary
Assess patient needs, implement teaching strategies, and manage nursing team resources as an OR circulator. Utilize data to evaluate outcomes and promote change while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability for quality patient outcomes. Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and handling exposure to blood and body fluids. Requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience in heart, neuro, and vascular settings. Must reside more than 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Current RN License in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential information
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision
- 1 year experience required
- Must live >65 miles from job site
- RN CIRCULATOR - REQUIRED EXPERIENCE : HEART, NEURO AND VACULAR
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Leadership skills / experience directly supervising or managing others
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience preferred
