Job Summary
Deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient populations. Manage nursing team resources and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary partners to promote optimal outcomes. Adapt communication styles to specific patient populations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Perform duties requiring exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications within a patient care area. Complete 3x 12-hour shifts with a requirement to reside over 65 miles from the job site. Health insurance is available upon assignment start.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse diploma
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
- 1 year experience required
- Must live >65 miles from job site
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience preferred
