Job Summary
Deliver patient care using the nursing process, assessing learning needs, and implementing teaching strategies for diverse patient populations. Manage nursing team resources and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Adapt communication styles to specific patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear presentation of services. Perform related duties as required, including exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications, while adhering to the employer's Compliance & Privacy Program. Requires current RN license in LA or Compact, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of experience. Must reside over 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse diploma
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
- 1 year experience required
- Must live >65 miles from job site
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience preferred
