Job Summary
Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient populations. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources while serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team. Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and adjusting explanations for procedures. Perform other related duties as required, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards. Maintain proficiency in computer software and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills. Work 3x 12h shifts with a requirement to live over 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse diploma
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- Registered Nurse - LA or Compact
- 1 year experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience
- Must live >65 miles from job site
