Job Summary
Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient populations. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources while serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team. Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear communication of services. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards. Perform other related duties as required, including exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications. Work three 12-hour shifts with a requirement to live more than 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- RN- Registered Nurse
- LA or Compact License
- >2 year experience
- Must live >65 miles from job site
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
