Job Summary
Deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients, families, and disciplines. Manage nursing team resources effectively while communicating, delegating, and collaborating on the interdisciplinary team. Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear communication regarding procedures and permissions. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws to ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation standards. Perform duties involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications within a patient care area. Complete three 12-hour shifts while living more than 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- RN - Registered Nurse
- LA or Compact License
- >2 year experience
- Must live >65 miles from job site
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
