Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care in the ICU/neuro unit: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; supervise non-RN personnel; function as charge nurse; delegate and supervise unit activities; manage airway, ventilator care, and specialized neuro procedures; perform pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy suctioning; coordinate care with the healthcare team; document plans of care and outcomes; ensure discharge readiness and patient education; utilize electronic patient records and clinical decision support; requires 1 year of acute nursing experience and appropriate licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred
