Job Summary
Travel RN (Registered Nurse) in ICU settings across cardiac/neuro ICU units with supervision of non-RN staff and role as Charge Nurse. Provides comprehensive patient care, develops and documents plans of care, evaluates patient responses and discharge readiness, and delivers education. Demonstrates competency in neuro patient care, neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, endotracheal/tracheostomy suctioning, ventilator care, and experience with complex cardiac surgical patients (CABG, valve replacements, LVAD/ECMO as indicated). Works under Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator supervision and adheres to unit policies and performance standards; may rotate to other nursing units as needed. Requires nursing graduation from an accredited program and licensure to practice as an RN in Connecticut. Locations include Florida facilities with on-site nursing duties; EEO/AA/Veteran considerations apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Cardiac ICU/CTICU experience or exposure
- Ventilator management
- Airway management
- Neuro assessment
- Halo brace care
- Nursing responsibilities in neurology/postoperative cardiac care
- Charge nurse responsibilities
