Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while providing direct care within the scope of practice in the Progressive Care Unit. Direct patient and family teaching, guide activities of other nursing personnel, and maintain standards of care. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Requires one year of experience, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Previous 1 year of experience
