Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while providing direct care in the Progressive Care Unit. Guide patient and family teaching, direct activities of other nursing personnel, and maintain standards of care. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Requires current state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days. One year of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Previous 1 year of experience
