Job Summary
Assess patient needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse groups while effectively using the Nursing Process in delivery of care. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources as a leader on the Interdisciplinary Team. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards. Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handling exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications. Requires current RN license in Louisiana or Compact, BLS certification, and 1 year of OR circulator experience in heart, neuro, or vascular specialties. Must reside more than 65 miles from the job site.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Current RN License in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential information
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision
- 1 year experience required
- Must live >65 miles from job site
- RN CIRCULATOR - REQUIRED EXPERIENCE : HEART, NEURO AND VACULAR
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Leadership skills / experience directly supervising or managing others
- Certification in clinical specialty area
- 2 year experience preferred
