Job Summary
Provide direct perioperative patient care in the OR and PACU using the nursing process, supporting orthopedic-centered surgery with total joints, sports medicine, and hand/foot procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes, model proficiency through precepting new staff, and contribute to evidence-based practice and safety/quality at the point of care. Perioperative care standards (AORN and ABPANC core curriculum) are included in the role responsibilities, and travel nurse contract options extend to 13-week assignments with a travel package.
Required Qualifications
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- 1-year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
