Job Summary
Provides top-of-scope direct patient care in the perioperative pathway, including practice in the Operating Room and/or PACU with nursing process, prioritizing wellness and evidence-based care. Works within a multidisciplinary team, mentors new staff through precepting, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. Perioperative care includes OR/PACU roles with core curricula aligned to AORN/ABPANC standards; role supported by travel assignments (13 weeks with extension options) and a rotating 4x10 day schedule at UCHealth Broomfield Hospital. The position offers a $60/hour pay rate plus travel package stipend and opportunities for professional growth through UCHealth's development programs.
Required Qualifications
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- 1-year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
