Job Summary
Perform all aspects of registered nurse duties in assigned long-term care units under the supervision of department managers, charge nurses, or staff team leaders. Assist staff nurses in patient treatment and care while demonstrating understanding of patient and family-centered care principles. Complete all assigned duties within the scope of practice and skillset as directed. This full-time, travel, and contract position offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with days shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.), three shifts per week, and every-other-weekend time off. Candidates must hold a current Michigan RN license, two years of LTC experience, and an ASN or equivalent degree. Sage Group HealthCare Staffing accepts both local and traveler candidates for this 13-week placement in Charlevoix, Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse: 2 years
- LTC RN experience: 2 years
- ASN or an equivalent
- RN License for State of MI
- BLS Certification from AHA
- Available for travel/contract position in Charlevoix, MI
- Available for 36 hours/week guaranteed schedule
- Available for 3 shifts per week
- Available for every other weekend
- Available for 12-hour day shifts (7.00a - 7.30p)
- Under direct supervision and/or direction of department manager/director, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader
