Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising CNAs and ensuring regulatory compliance. Administer medications, monitor condition changes, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Lead interdisciplinary collaboration, manage care plans, and oversee specialized treatments like wound care. Respond to emergencies, assist with transfers, and participate in Quality Assurance initiatives. Travel to assigned Iowa facilities to support clinical leadership and resident safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to travel throughout Iowa with reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of nursing practice, resident care, and long-term care regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of RN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Previous Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience
- Previous Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations
