Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on moderate to high acuity Acute Care units, including the Cardiothoracic Progressive/Tele Unit. Utilize the nursing process to deliver specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) services while prioritizing patient wellness and evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team. Precept new healthcare staff and model proficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross prior to start. This 13-week assignment offers full-time days shifts at UCHealth Memorial Hosp Central in Colorado Springs, with local contract options available for residents within 75 miles.
Required Qualifications
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- 1-year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
